*VERY IMPORTANT FOR CLIENT RETENTION*
FIRST 24 HOURS:
-
Keep them completely dry: Avoid water, saunas, swimming, heavy sweating, and crying.
-
Avoid steam & heat: Stay away from saunas, hot showers, facials, open ovens, etc.
-
Skip the makeup: Do not apply mascara or eye makeup.
-
Avoid oils: Keep all oil-based creams, cleansers, or serums away from the eye area.
-
Sleep carefully: Try to sleep on your back to avoid crushing your lashes into the pillow & warping the curl while the bonds are still setting.
-
Do not touch, rub, or pick at your lashes.
DAILY MAINTENANCE:
To keep your lift looking fresh and prevent the natural hairs from drying out, follow this routine once the initial window has passed:
-
Clean gently: Wash your face with an oil-free cleanser or eye makeup remover.
-
Brush upwards: Gently brush your lashes every morning with a clean, dry spoolie to maintain an even, upward fan.
-
Avoid curlers & waterproof formulas: Never use a mechanical eyelash curler, as it will break the lifted hairs. Also avoid waterproof mascara, which requires harsh rubbing and oil to remove.
-
OPTIONAL: Nourish and condition: Apply a daily or weekly nourishing lash serum (peptide or keratin based) to keep the hair hydrated and strong.
*Please note: your lashes may appear more defined & structured immediately after your appointment. As the days go on, they will naturally soften and "fluff out" into a more lived-in look while maintaining their lift. This is a normal part of the lash lift process and does not mean the lift has fallen.*
