POLICIES

A NON-REFUNDABLE $100 deposit is required to book an appointment. Deposit may be sent via Apple Pay or Zelle (240-821-0556). It will be credited towards your balance and the remainder will be due in cash, Apple pay, or Zelle payment the day of your appointment.

RESCHEDULING - Each deposit is honored with one rescheduling opportunity. 48 hours notice is required if you need to reschedule your appointment; any later and it will be considered a cancellation and your deposit will be forfeited.

LATENESS - If you are running late to your appointment please notify me as soon as possible. Due to time constraints and my obligations to my other clients, I can only accommodate up to 15 minutes tardiness. Any later will be considered a cancellation and your deposit forfeited.

CANCELLATIONS/NO-SHOWS - Canceling your appointment for ANY reason will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Please respect my time as I respect yours and only book an appointment if you are committed to the date and time. When you cancel your appointment last minute, no show/no call, I'm unable to fill that appointment slot and clients on my waitlist miss an opportunity to receive services. Clients who no show will have to pay 100% of the service cost upfront to reschedule.

INELIGIBILITY - If you are not an eligible candidate for my services and decide to book anyway, you will be refused service and your deposit forfeited. It is your responsibility to confirm you meet the requirements before booking.

NO GUESTS- No guests, babies, or pets are allowed in the studio due to hazardous materials and cross contamination.

NO REFUNDS- Because this is a service rendered, there will be no refunds once completed; No exceptions. I do my best to ensure your complete satisfaction. Once you leave the appointment, I cannot account for pre/post-care and/or external factors. All results vary per individual based on skin type, life style, facial skincare products used, sun exposure, medications, etc. If you are unhappy for any reason, please reach out and we can discuss options available to resolve any issues.

PMU is a two-step process. The initial session is to lay a foundation. Conservative color and saturation is recommended so that we can see how your skin heals and how receptive it is to pigment. Once healed, there may be areas that are spotty and/or faded. This is normal. During the touch up session is where we will make any adjustments requested and perfect the area. Multiple sessions may be necessary for desired results.

ombré Brows

Suitable for all skin types. This technique is done using a machine to create softly shaded, powdery pixels. Your brows will heal 30-40% lighter than what they look like right after the procedure. This will result in a permanent brow tint look. The "ombré" is a gradient fade from lighter at the front of the brow to darker towards the tail end of the brow. 6-8 week touch up is included.

Pre-care instructions MUST BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessive bleeding and sensitivity during the procedure will dilute and expel the pigment color, leading to poor results.

The skin must be free of all irritations including blemishes, eczema, and psoriasis.
Must be off Accutane medication for 12 months prior to getting a Cosmetic Tattoo.
Stop taking Fish Oil, Vitamin C, Glucosamine, Evening Primrose Oil, Ginger, one week prior to your appointment as they thin the blood and prevent the pigment from implanting correctly, meaning your tattoo may heal patchy.
Discontinue the use of any anti-aging, skin brightening or anti-acne skincare products.
Particularly those that contain Alpha Hydroxy (AHA), Vitamin A, Retinol. Ideally, do not use these products for 30 days prior to your appointment, and yes, even if you do not use it near the area to be treated it does spread under your skin and your cosmetic tattoo will heal patchy. Once your tattoo has healed under the skin surface (approximately 6 weeks following your final session) you may resume your usual skin care routine.
Do not schedule any facials, microdermabrasion, microneedling, peels or laser treatments for at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
Do not have cosmetic injections on the forehead for at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
Please avoid any type of blood thinning medication for a minimum of 72 hours prior to your procedure unless is unsafe to do so for your health. Please ask your doctor before stopping these types of medications. Such as: Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Advil, Niacin, Voltaren or Indocid.
as well as prenatal vitamins, Vitamin E or nutritional shakes. Tylenol is recommended if you have a low pain tolerance.
Do not work out on the day of the procedure.
Avoid sun tanning or tanning beds for 2 weeks prior to procedure. If you show up to your appointment with a sunburn you will need to reschedule and will forfeit your deposit. As your skin exfoliates from a sunburn it will take the pigment. Tanned skin is damaged skin, and your color will not heal properly.
Do not tweeze, thread, wax, tint, or perform electrolysis 1 week prior to the procedure.
Scars from surgery or injury must be healed for at least one year prior to service.
Do not drink alcohol 24 hours prior to your procedure
Do not consume coffee or other caffeine products 24 hours prior.
Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

Additional Information

- Please be aware that the result of the procedure depends on the following: Medication and health conditions, skin Conditions – i.e. oily and poor skin, very dry/flaky skin, sun-damaged skin, loose or laxed skin, natural skin undertones, alcohol intake and smoking, general stress, immune system, poor diet and not following the aftercare instructions, may affect your healed results.

Antacids, thyroid and anxiety medications have been reported as interfering with permanent makeup either by affecting retention or shifting the pigment to an undesirable tone.

- Mature clients may need an additional one to two weeks healing for the final results to appear. The better you take care of your skin and protect it from UV rays, the better the outcome and lifespan of the permanent cosmetic procedures.

If you've never had any permanent cosmetic makeup applied before, consultations are NOT required, and you may book an appointment after reading the following information. Please read below carefully and thoroughly and treat it as an "online consultation." Failing to follow the instructions and requirements below will result in your appointment being cancelled & your deposit being forfeited.

Have anesthetic or makeup/pigment allergies (lidocaine, iron oxide, etc.)
Viral infection and/or symptoms (cold, flu, coughing, etc.)
Easily triggered post inflammatory hyperpigmentation
Have used Accutane within the past year
Have gotten botox within the past month
Thyroid medications: pigment may fade faster and require more frequent or additional touch-ups
Auto Immune Disorder of any kind (MS, RA, Lupus etc): Due to the effects of the medication used to treat these disorders, pigment is not retained as well

If you are diabetic, have any blood clotting or healing disorders, or are on any blood thinning medication, you must receive clearance from your physician and provide a note to receive services. The risk of developing an infection is higher in people with a compromised immune system.

Lip Blushing

Lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo that can enhance the color and shape of your lips and give the impression of more fullness. This is done by depositing color ink into your lips and along your lip line to improve the overall look. Color is customizable. Your lips will heal 50-60% lighter than what they look like right after the procedure. 6-8 week touch up is included.

You MUST contact your physician for a prescription of an antiviral medication Valtrex, Zovirax, or other anti-viral pre and post procedure to help prevent a herpes outbreak if you have ever had chicken pox, fever blisters or cold sores (even just once). There are absolutely no exceptions to this rule. Start taking the medication 2 days prior and continue for 2 days post procedure.
The skin must be free of all irritations including blemishes, eczema, and psoriasis.
Must not be on Accutane medication for one year prior to getting a Cosmetic Tattoo.
You must wait 6 weeks after getting lip fillers, it is possible to have poor color retention in lips that have had collagen injections within 6 weeks, and within a year of Restylane. There is the risk of pigment migration along the lip line if you have had Restylane. If you plan on getting lip fillers after your procedure, you must wait at least 6 weeks.
Stop taking Fish Oil, Vitamin C, Glucosamine, Evening Primrose Oil, or Ginger one week prior to your appointment as they thin the blood and prevent the pigment from implanting correctly. If you continue to use these the healed result may be patchy.

Cold sores

If you have a history of cold sores you'll need to start taking a prescription anti-viral (Valacyclovir, Denavir (penciclovir), acyclovir (Zovirax) or Valtrex), at least ONE week BEFORE your proposed procedure. Cold sore outbreaks are often triggered by stress or trauma to the lips or skin. Therefore, if you are a carrier, a PMU procedure will likely cause an outbreak if you do not take anti-viral medication prior to the treatment. A cold sore outbreak will affect your healing process and the results of the procedure and can even lead to scarring. To ensure the best possible results for clients, we require clients not skip this step. As such, if you have a history of cold sores and do not follow these instructions, Your appointment WILL be canceled.

Dark lip neutralization

Lip Neutralization is for those with dark or cool-tone lips. This uses color theory to neutralize darkness in the lips in order to reach a brighter, warmer, natural color. DISCLAIMER: Multiple sessions may be necessary in order to achieve the end goal color.
